Ryan Jones’ practice experience covers multiple areas of civil litigation, with a focus on employment litigation. He is experienced with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, The Americans with Disabilities Act, The Family and Medical Leave Act, The California Family Rights Act, Wage and Hour claims, Fair Employment and Housing Act, and other federal and state employment statutes. Ryan has extensive experience in employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases, where the employer adversely treated the employee because of their race, national origin, age, disability, medical condition, sex, gender, or religion. Ryan has second chaired at trial and arbitrations in front of the American Arbitration Association.
After graduating from Loyola Law School, he was selected to participate in the highly selective American Board of Trial Advocates Fellowship, where he grew his civil litigation skills while being mentored by some of the top trial attorneys in California, while also being assigned to Hon. Michael L. Stern of the Los Angeles County Superior Court. During law school Ryan worked at a non-profit Cancer Legal Resource Center where he communicated with cancer patients and relative of cancer patients with legal related issues such as employment, healthcare coverage, disability, wills & trusts, among many other legal issues. Ryan also law clerked at a firm in law school where he was involved with employment and personal injury litigation.
Prior to attending law school, Ryan attended the University of California, Riverside, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in only three years. Ryan also earned a Master of Arts in Sport Management at California State University, Long Beach, with the distinction of graduating first in his class.
